It’s been a little while since I had double-eyelid revision surgery, but my mucous membrane is everted, the pulling in my eyes is so severe, and it feels like something is stabbing my eyes? It hurts so much.. It hurts even when I’m just sitting still, and every time I close and open my eyes I feel pain, so every minute and every second feels like I’m not really living.. If the sutures are the problem, they all need to be removed, but it’s not a buried-suture method, so it’s not an easy surgery, and they have to incise along the entire eye line. I haven’t really seen many people get this done.. If I’d known it would lead to such a painful result, I wouldn’t even have looked at plastic surgery clinics. I keep feeling only regret and self-blame, wondering if this happened because I was ugly and got greedy without knowing my place. The money is one thing, but I wanted to become prettier and went as far as getting revision surgery, and now I wonder if I can stay sane looking at my eyes after all that eyelid skin has been cut away. How am I supposed to have a social life too.. lol.. I seriously want to jump off.. I had double-eyelid surgery through a partial-incision method, and I didn’t do ptosis correction, canthoplasty, or anything like that. Can this really happen..? What I vaguely suspect is that about two months after the double-eyelid surgery, the line seemed to have loosened a bit. I wonder if that somehow affected the muscle, but I never expected to experience symptoms like this from only double-eyelid surgery, and even when I actually search, cases like this don’t seem that common.. I don’t know how to deal with it.. For now, I should go to both an ophthalmology clinic and a plastic surgery clinic, right? If anyone has any information related to this post, such as surgery to undo an incision, loosening, or side effects related to functional eye surgery, anything is fine, so please leave a comment. Thank you for reading, and I hope everyone has successful eye surgery.
익명 I’m also having a hard time right now because of my nose, but don’t eat yourself up so much with the sad phrase “I was ugly and didn’t know my place.” Let’s stay strong together and get through this situation. I’m having such a hard time too that I even took a leave of absenceㅠㅠ
다 꿈이었 I keep thinking I shouldn’t have reached for something beyond me, but I did lol.. even a leave of absence.. You must have had a really hard time too. I really hope things get better than they are nowㅜ Thanks for cheering me on!
익명 I also had an incision.. and ptosis correction, and now it’s come loose, so my eyes look dull and unfocused. Ever since the ptosis correction, the inside of my eyes has been itchy and feels strange.. sigh.. Let’s stay strong together..ㅠㅠ
익명 Please go to an ophthalmology clinic. Going to ophthalmology absolutely won’t solve it 100% (at least it didn’t solve mine), but they can still tell you how to cope when it hurts too much. In my case it was tenderness caused by ptosis correction, though..
익명 I’m the same. I’m also having a hard time because of my nose, and I shouldn’t have touched it.. I got gaslit by a doctor who seemed like a scammer, and even functions that were perfectly fine all got ruined. Every moment I breathe feels like I’m inhaling faint chemical warfare gas. My nose stings so much... You must also be suffering every time you close and open your eyes. Every single day is full of regret
