The lateral and lower canthoplasty turned out legendary..>I got non-incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction + full canthoplasty. My eyes already had double eyelids, but the asymmetry was severe, and when I saw photos other people took of me, my eyes looked too small, so I was always stressed about it People around me asked why I was getting eye surgery, but I’m the one who has to live with this face anyway, and I wanted to do what I wanted, so I worked hard and went around consulting by myself before getting surgery. I looked for eye-specialty + private clinics and visited at least 6 places, and I chose a place where my aesthetic sense matched the director’s + it wasn’t a factory-style clinic + the director personally!! checked my eye condition before and after surgery. As for recovery, up to the 1-week mark, as you can see in the photos, I had quite a bit of bruising. (Since I did get full canthoplasty......) On day 7, I had the stitches removed, and the director personally checked me. He said I’d probably recover faster than expected. At the time I was like, huh? With this much swelling? But after receiving aftercare and diligently doing warm/cold compresses at home, it was okay. But maybe because I had canthoplasty, for about 1-2 weeks my eyes felt slightly irritated/cold..?? Still, when you look at lateral and lower canthoplasty reviews, conjunctival edema can be seriously legendary, but I had zero conjunctival edema and no bloodshot bruising in my eyes either. I heard that if you open the corners too excessively, the pulling force is strong and can cause conjunctival edema, but I didn’t have anything like that and the surgery seems to have gone well, so I’m really satisfied with the lateral and lower canthoplasty. The hospital where I had surgery seems to do a lot of lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty restoration, so maybe that’s why there seem to be almost no canthoplasty side effects. Anyway, it opened up super naturally and nicely. After 3 weeks it got better, and by 1 month I could wear makeup and go out without any problem. Honestly, since it’s a private clinic, it was a bit more expensive than the surgery cost I expected.. But considering the 1:1 progress checks + aftercare + 3-year AS, I think this level of investment is worth it.
