<Day 10><Day 18><Day 26>It’s day 26 since I had revision eye surgery with the double-line excision method, and the swelling is still so severe... Is this really swelling? I searched through all the reviews, but I don’t think I’ve seen swelling as bad as mine at this stage Before surgery, ptosis correction wasn’t part of the plan, but in the photos, only the left side was weak during surgery so they corrected it, maybe that’s why one side is especially worse.. I was anxious, so I went to the hospital on day 19, and they said my swelling was going down slowly. I got a swelling injection in my arm, and I also had an herbal decoction made at an oriental medicine clinic to reduce swelling and have been taking it for 5 days, but there’s no change. It even feels like it’s swelling more than in the beginning, so I’m really depressed Will it get better if I wait a little longer? For reference, since the surgery I’ve been walking almost every day, averaging 7,000-8,000 steps, I’ve done both cold and warm compresses, and I’m drinking more than twice as much water as usual.. (When I do warm compresses, it swells more, so I’m not doing them now) (Photo order - Day 10 / Day 18 / Day 26)
쩨리리리리 Yeah... it really doesn’t feel like the swelling is going down well When I look at the line with your eyes closed, it doesn’t seem that high though But even though you did the double-line excision method, it looks like the old scar doesn’t show at all??? Amazing
cykshy [@쩨리리리리] Right, the line itself was only lowered slightly from the existing one, so I don’t think it’s high I’m going crazy.. Ah, the old scar was originally barely visible
cykshy [@쩨리리리리] No.. I took all three photos while trying to open my eyes as much as I could I also added a photo from before the revision surgery, and originally the right side was the one that opened relatively less, but when they said “please open your eyes” during surgery, the left side was harder to open.. So I think they added ptosis correction only there, but now I wonder if it’s become the opposite And as I get older, the area above my eyes has been hollowing, and 2 out of the 7 clinics I visited, including the hospital where I had surgery, mentioned it. But at that hospital, they said I probably didn’t need to do it together this time, and I also didn’t want to, so I didn’t..! Could this be the reason..?
쩨리리리리 [@cykshy] Since I’m not an expert, I’m not really sure, but I asked because somehow it looked like your eye-opening strength might be weak and your eyes also looked a bit hollow But it also seems possible that the area above your eyes looks hollow because your eye-opening strength is weak... First of all, it hasn’t been long since your incisional surgery, so I think it would be best to wait comfortably for about 3 months for now
원투쓰리디엔드 Your eyes do look more swollen than in the first photo. Because the double-eyelid line looks thick, your pupils are also less visible. If all the bruising has disappeared, warm compresses would probably be better.
용용채 I also did the double-line excision method to even out asymmetrical eyes.. But the line itself is seriously uneven.. They say it’s swelling, and time is the answer, but I wonder how I’m supposed to wait 2 months, 3 months
cykshy [@원투쓰리디엔드] I don’t know if it’s thick because of swelling or if the surgery just failed, so I’m going crazy Everyone says different things about compresses too, and when I do warm compresses, I definitely swell more, so I’m even scared to do them
cykshy [@용용채] If waiting makes it get better, that would be a relief, but I’m scared this might not be swelling
