Ah, until yesterday I still couldn’t believe that I had had nose surgery. But one day has passed and now that today is here, I can really feel it. I thought maybe I was swollen because I slept too much, but when I looked in the mirror, I almost fainted. That facial scrunching you only see in a TV horror movie(?), or maybe you could call it disability-like;; I was so shocked that I tried taking medicine and doing cold compresses too, but since I didn’t do anything the day before, there was nothing I could do about this swelling. Later I have to go get a weekly shot of what I think is a blood vessel injection or something, but with these swollen eyes I can’t see the ground at all...... Until yesterday I was fine. They say other people had gauze on their nose or whatever, so I thought I had to breathe through my mouth and that the gauze soaked with blood would be uncomfortable, so I also breathed through my mouth, but when I tried doing that in this dry transitional season, my mouth got all cracked and I couldn’t sleep, so I just breathed through my nose, and surprisingly it was really easy to breathe ㅋㅋ For a moment I thought I was an idiot. ;; Near the end of the surgery (I had local anesthesia), I asked the doctor, do you not put anything like gauze inside the nose? and he said there was something better than gauze and went on and on, and because of that I can breathe so easily. Or maybe they didn’t use gauze because I wasn’t bleeding from the nose ㅋㅋ Breathing is fine through the tape that fixes everything in place. What’s just so embarrassing is the swelling? My face swelled so much around the nose like a waterlogged cloth. I live with a friend, so it’s embarrassing to face them... If they ask who I am, that would be awkward...; A delivery came too, so I thought I’d quickly take it and close the door, but the delivery guy... treated me with way too much pity, as if I were some poor unfortunate person. There are still 5 more deliveries coming today, so today is my humiliating day. Well, I’ll just see him once and that’s it, so phew....
