What’s the difference between under-eye fat repositioning and lower blepharoplasty?

They’re both fat repositioning, but lower blepharoplasty involves an incision under the eyes, so many more areas can be improved. While repositioning the fat, it can also improve the nasolabial folds, but the risk of losing the aegyo-sal is high. Under-eye fat repositioning uses an incision inside the cornea, so only fat repositioning is possible, and it can preserve the aegyo-sal sufficiently. Originally, lower blepharoplasty was also just called fat repositioning. I think they separated the terms once the surgical technique using an incision inside the cornea came out.

No no, lower blepharoplasty is done when the skin under the eyes has sagged and skin excision is needed, while under-eye fat repositioning is for when it isn’t sagging and you only need to improve bulging fat. Ah, so even if someone is somewhat older, if there’s no sagging under the eyes, they don’t necessarily have to go as far as lower blepharoplasty then.. Thanks for sharing
