I wanted to soften my impression because my outer eye corners turn upward and made me look sharp.. I heard that having under-eye fullness can also make the midface look shorter, so I looked into it a bit and decided to have the procedure at a clinic. I think the major swelling lasted about 4 days. It was swollen like the day after crying a lot, and after that only bruising remained, with no swelling. The bruising lasted about 2 weeks. The skin under my eyes is very thin, so I also bruised when I got aegyo-sal filler before, so I was expecting it to some extent. Still, fortunately only one side bruised, so when people around me asked what happened to my eye, I went around making the excuse that I dropped my phone on it while lying down and using it.. There was really no pain at all. The area where fat was suctioned near the groin did not hurt either, and if anything, only the stitched incision area stung a little..? Other than that, there was nothing painful. After surgery, I think it is best not to touch the eyes too much and not to squeeze the eyes shut tightly. I wanted natural under-eye fullness, so I am much more satisfied now than when I had filler. With filler, anyone could tell, “Oh, she put in aegyo-sal..” but now it just feels completely natural, like it was originally mine..?
