Hello? This is my first time writing in a community. I got so much valuable information here, so last Monday, February 4, I had my nose augmented. With silicone + nasal cartilage^^ That pain at first... anyone who has been through it would know. In my case, I’m also older haha (late 20s..) and I had severe allergic rhinitis. People around me were strongly against it, so I couldn’t even say it hurt. I just suffered alone and only said I was fine..^^ I came in here and found a lot of comfort reading posts by people going through the same kind of pain.^^ So now I’m writing this hoping I can be at least a little comfort to those who are currently going through post-op pain, or those who will go through it in the future.^^ I got a lot of information here, but while reading posts about side effects or revision surgery, there were more than a few times when I was shocked and gasping. For the first 5 days after surgery, I really regretted having it done, and kept regretting it, thinking if I had known it would be this hard, I shouldn’t have done it.. I should have just lived with the way I looked. But after 5 days passed, my condition started improving morning and evening, and it’s changing noticeably with time^^ Now the swelling and bruising are all gone, and I start work tomorrow.^^ Of course, I’m really satisfied with my nose too.^_^ It may not look satisfactory in other people’s eyes, but I feel like he made it look natural, so I’m just grateful to the doctor and to the heavens.. haha I had a slight purple bruise around my eyes, and yellow bruising around the eyes started from the 3rd day. I walked for an hour every day. It really helps the swelling go down^^ I referred to lots of different ways to reduce swelling here. And after surgery, I went to the hospital every day. I asked the doctor everything I was curious about and everything that was hard, and the trip to the hospital also counted as exercise.. haha After asking the doctor, I shook off all the needless worries. And I drank corn silk and pumpkin juice; I’m not sure if this is good for swelling or for constipation.. haha anyway, it’s good.. The pumpkin juice probably played a part too.^^ I think there are many people similar to me.^^ Once the hard time passes, days this rewarding do come~ I really understand people who said they never want to do it again. haha Still, for those who look in the mirror now and aren’t satisfied, I think it would be good to lower your expectations just a little, not compare yourself with others, and have confidence in your own charm. Desire has no end, so as I live, I might find another area I want to fix. When that time comes, I should look back at this post I wrote and repent.. ha Thank you^^ And everyone, happy New Year to all of you^^
