<Before and after surgery - makeup O><Before and after surgery - makeup X><Surgical progress>It’s been a little over a month since I had natural adhesion + fat removal surgery with Director Lee Han-byeol at EyeTing! My ideal look was a really thin inner double eyelid, and I brought photos of Haneul from KIOF and Kang Mina. I originally had a very thin inner double eyelid, and I wanted to get rid of the stuffy-looking feeling in my upper eyelids when taking photos. I wanted my irises to show a little more, and I also wanted to stop my eyelashes from getting pressed down when using an eyelash curler! After looking at my eyes, the doctor said my upper eyelids were thick and my skin was on the thicker side, so if I did an incision, my impression might actually become stronger. The doctor recommended partial incision + fat removal + a slight upper canthoplasty to make a thin in-out line. But since this was my first surgery and I extremely disliked the idea of it becoming thick, I had another consultation and lowered the line a bit. The doctor said that if we did that, I could proceed with natural adhesion without upper canthoplasty, so I had natural adhesion + fat removal surgery! On the day of surgery, the doctor explained that the line they set was about 5.5-6 mm, and I was scared of anesthesia, but they reassured me. Looking back, it seems like I whined a lot... haha.. From consultation to the end of surgery, they treated me kindly, and I was able to have the surgery comfortably. Even on the day of surgery, it looked so natural that I wondered if I had really had surgery, and I barely bruised. It was the first day, but I walked around without a hat or sunglasses lol. Like others, around day 2 or day 3 it swelled a bit and I got a little bruising, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Since I didn’t have canthoplasty, I never had to visit the hospital after surgery, and around day 3 I removed only the fat-removal stitch at home. Since I did it thinly, now the line is clearly visible right after waking up, and when the swelling goes down at night, it’s barely noticeable! Some people say maybe I made it too thin, but this is what I wanted, so I’m satisfied haha. Especially when I do makeup, my eyes look subtly clearer, so I really like it! Before, no matter how much eyeliner and shadow I applied, it all disappeared when I opened my eyes, but now it doesn’t, so I changed my makeup style too. I really like it!
