The buried suture I had done 15 years ago came undone, so I raised the line slightly and had it sutured again. But there’s a black thread sticking out a little below, not on the newly made double-eyelid line this time. Until now, there were scabs around the line too, so I thought this was also a scab. But I’ve been removing the scab little by little with ointment, and when I looked closely today, it’s actually a thread protruding in two layers. Do they tie the knot below instead of on the line? It also kind of feels like they tied a knot and didn’t cut it.. What could this be?? I also had a canthoplasty, and looking at it, it’s the same black thread, so I think it’s the thread they used this time.
