It has been 3 months since I had revision rhinoplasty at a clinic. Because it was done with autologous costal cartilage, the nasal tip felt firmer and had a strong pulling sensation, but now it has improved a lot compared to the beginning, so I don’t think it feels uncomfortable anymore. When I asked the director, he said the pulling sensation should no longer be noticeable after about 6 months to 1 year. And this time, I also had revision functional nose surgery together, and I’m very satisfied. When I had surgery before, even after functional nose surgery, there was no improvement at all; if anything, it felt like it got worse. My rhinitis was so severe that I even had to get prescribed medication from the hospital and take it. Even if the shape could be corrected again with revision surgery, I wondered whether the function would really change, but the effect has been dramatic Now breathing through my nose is definitely easier than before, and a lot of the swelling on the nasal bridge has gone down, so it looks much more natural than before. The nasal tip has also come down well, so I’m satisfied, and my snoring while sleeping has definitely decreased haha. Before surgery, there was a big difference between the two nostrils, but it has improved a lot. Recently, I went to the clinic and had the director check my progress, and he said there were no problems and that I had recovered well, so we decided to check the next progress at the 6-month mark. I think this time it will probably stay well-maintained like this. I also like the straight-line contour, and it looks natural and not obvious, so I think the surgery was a great success!
