How long has it been since your surgery?

[@Apteam] I didn’t have it done at a place specializing in restoration; it was done by the person who did everything from my first surgery to my medial epicanthoplasty restoration, so it’s a bit awkward to write the clinic name… My first surgery came out pretty and well done.

The photo quality is quite good, and if it’s in that kind of condition, it has only been 3 months, and there is still room for the scar to improve as tissue fills in and the redness settles, so I recommend looking into nonsurgical methods like ointment and moisturization as much as possible, and surgically, whether it’s a procedure or whatever, I’d recommend not touching it. It looks like it can be covered sufficiently with makeup or sunscreen, and even bare-faced, once the redness settles, I’m guessing it may remain as a scar that only you would notice. Since it’s a surgery that repeatedly touches the most sensitive and thin skin tissue in the first place, it’s a surgery where scars can form in many different and even severe ways, and in my personal opinion, I know it’s something you can’t help but be very concerned about, but that level looks not just very acceptable but like a good result. So I also want to ask where you had it done. Not because it’s botched, but because it looks well done. Could you possibly tell me, even in a private comment?

Other cases, meaning failures, are first of all scars that can’t even be covered with makeup, and the category includes depressions in multiple areas like the double-eyelid line, the front of the eye, and even under the eye; dog ears; long, wide white scars; pitted scars; step-off scars; horizontal and vertical wrinkles, and all kinds of irreversible scars, while the inner corner shape either stays the same, becomes round, gets hollowed out, or even develops functional problems as a basic outcome. But in the photo, the double-eyelid line looks like the in-line shape preferred these days, with the outer skin slightly indented rather than the flesh tissue, and above all, without any need for secondary canthoplasty or re-restoration, the inner corners are pointed and natural, really, really well done. (If you posted elsewhere asking how it looks 3 months after getting it done, everyone would ask where you had it done because it’s such a well-done case.) The scarring is minimal, I don’t see irreversible white scars or dog ears around the eyes, and there’s no mention of serious vertical or horizontal wrinkles, so in my personal opinion, the result looks top-tier.

This scar feels like it’ll be there forever and won’t go away.... I felt comforted after hearing that, then when I saw it wasn’t going away, I was like, ah..... I ended up going from my first surgery to my third, and it was even my first cosmetic surgery

Keep in mind that well-done photos are for promotion, so they may have been retouched to some extent. If I were the doctor, I’d think of slightly retouching your photo and using it for promotion… It’s your choice, but re-restoration or laser treatment could make that area become depressed altogether, could create another severe scar, and even the eye shape could change. It’s not that I don’t understand wanting perfection, but that area is already scarred and adhered down to the existing double-eyelid line, meaning the muscle layer, and a later re-restoration would involve releasing that adhesion as much as possible while creating a new inner-corner shape. That area is already very thin, so you can think of the inner tissues that support the outer surface skin, such as the dermis or subcutaneous fat, as having decreased significantly or being absent. Even so, your skin and tissue quality don’t seem extremely thin, and it looks like the restoration succeeded by the doctor touching it minimally with skill, leaving minimal scarring. Above all, the shape is so pretty that I’m asking again, but could you tell me where you had it done, even in a private comment?
