Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

After double-jaw surgery, I went from Jean Crocodile to a pelican (before surgery ~ about…

1 year of presurgical orthodontics - open bite + facial asymmetry + malocclusion + underbite + protruding mouth ((changed surgical hospital midway during presurgical orthodontics)) Surgical areas: double-jaw surgery + 2 types of contouring (facial contour line) >> Among the places I consulted, when all of them recommended zygoma reduction, this place said, “Is it really necessary? I don’t think it would be effective,” so I proceeded without zygoma surgery. Honestly, I wasn’t thinking about zygoma surgery either. General anesthesia // no blood drain // urinary catheter only // Desired look: actor-like, glamorous-natural My face was.. Jean Crocodile > dog stung by a bee > swollen toad > pelican .... ㅡ I went in during the morning and was conscious around 5-6 p.m. I could breathe well through my nose.. my throat didn’t hurt either, and overall it didn’t hurt at all, probably because of the pain-control injection.. humans run on medication.... Because I had to wake up from anesthesia and reactivate my lungs, I couldn’t sleep for 2 hours and focused hard on breathing!! They came in from time to time to change ice packs and add extra medication to the IV. Until discharge, I only took light walks and got disinfection laser treatment, and otherwise just slept (though I woke up every hour..) On the first day I really slept well.. I dribbled some blood and saliva, but when they suggested changing my patient gown, I said no.. lol haha because I thought they’d have to remove and reinsert the injection... They kept bringing me New Care, but I didn’t drink it.. After discharge was when it got hard ㅜㅜ I washed standing up and looked in the mirror, and there was some swollen toad standing there.... That’s when reality hit me. It was my face that I’d seen my whole life, but more than ever, it was the ugliest ...........my neck and chin were one (my chin went missing) Anyway, the pills were hard to take, I kept swelling and the pressure pain drove me crazy, my butt hurt, and because of the pressure pain I couldn’t sleep properly, so I was irritable ... Sleeping while doing cold compresses made it somewhat better ... Swallowing saliva was hard so I mostly spat it out, but I recommend just swallowing it. They say that’s part of the process that helps recovery or something. If you endure just one week like that, it becomes more livable, for real. Please get prescribed powdered medicine..!!!!! At the 1-week mark, I went for disinfection and follow-up and learned how to change the rubber bands. I almost got held at the hospital and couldn’t go home lololololol ㅜㅜ I was asking if I could just come to the hospital every day, that’s how bad it was ... My whole mouth was swollen, but I forced it open and managed to put the rubber bands on..ㅜㅜ Now I think I can put each one on in 3-5 seconds. I recovered diligently while consistently getting swelling regeneration laser treatments!! From week 2, I went back to work and moved around a lot! But my concentration definitely dropped ㅜㅜ Then I got the stitches removed, and even though I went in really scared, it didn’t hurt much. It was just enough to make me frown. The lower area was a bit more like that than the philtrum, but it ended quickly each time ... I really thought the skill was amazing, yes. I could brush my teeth, so I scrubbed hard. Ah!! Until stitch removal, tongue coating builds up like crazy!! Prepare a tongue cleaner, seriously. Around week 1, I did put Hexamedine on a tongue cleaner and wipe, but there was a bit of a limit to how much I could open my mouth ... I’m soon at week 3, and so far I’m only eating powder/liquid things like soy milk, Pocari, water, and cafe drinks (reason: taking out and putting in the rubber bands and wafer is annoying... I feel like I’d lose all my energy while eating, so just.. I used to be someone who could eat a whole container of Yupdduk, but now 2-3 paper cups of Pocari make me full) I definitely have no strength in my body ... and swelling dysmorphia is starting, but honestly, rather than swelling, I keep wondering when the soft tissue will catch up .. I’m not even a pelican, the soft tissue has no sense at all. Since my face got smaller, my nose looks a bit bigger (it also feels slightly spread out). My lips definitely roll inward!! I’m thinking I’m lucky they were thick. I’m adapting to the new occlusion and feel a lot of nerve recovery. It tingles like crazy.. Anyway, so far I don’t have side effects or regrets about my appearance!!
