I got a volume SMAS facelift to get rid of nasolabial folds~

I’m posting a review after passing the 3-month mark since getting a volume SMAS facelift at a plastic surgery clinic. Every time I see my jawline looking noticeably sharper than before after surgery, I feel that I really made the right decision. I’m naturally very timid and worry a lot, so I spent a long time just searching online. I also saw many cases where the surgery looked awkward, so it wasn’t easy to find a skilled director I could truly feel confident about and decide to go through with surgery. But after going through that process, I found this clinic and had the surgery, and it was a choice I don’t regret. There wasn’t anything special for postoperative care. For the first week after surgery, I applied ointment well to the wound areas, and for about a month I wore a compression band when sleeping at night. The director tightened it a lot, so at first the surgical area felt a bit wrinkled, but it was covered by my hair so it didn’t bother me much, and after 3 weeks it completely smoothed out. My jawline became much sharper than before, so because I was worried people around me might notice I had surgery, I deliberately exercised hard and lost about 2 kg. Thanks to that, they didn’t think I had surgery and instead said, “You lost weight, so you look younger and prettier!” I only told close acquaintances, and now they’re making a fuss asking me to introduce them to the clinic. My deep nasolabial folds and marionette lines became lighter, and my jawline naturally came back to life, so clothes, hairstyles, and makeup all suit me better. Recently I was organizing photos on my phone, and I realized I look much younger now than I did in photos taken 4–5 years ago. Honestly, when I think about the money I poured into Ultherapy and Thermage every year, I wonder why I didn’t have the courage to get surgery sooner. I think it’s much more economical and efficient. Since my appearance looks younger, I feel full of energy in daily life, and I’m happy every morning when I look in the mirror.
