I originally had small, not very defined monolid eyes, so even with makeup, my eyes didn’t really stand out prettily I was so envious of eyes with double eyelids that I wore double-eyelid glue/tape every day for 3 years, but applying it was annoying and it was way too obvious, so the stress kept getting seriously bad lol. In the end, I thought, if I’m going to keep doing this, I might as well just get surgery;; so I went to consultations at several clinics~ Honestly, a place that told me the facts about my eye condition clearly was much better than somewhere that just talked smoothly! Because my eyes were quite small and flat, they said that doing incisional ptosis correction together with posterior/lateral canthoplasty would make them look much more open. They didn’t recommend other surgeries and only talked about the areas I was genuinely concerned about, so I liked that too! Right after surgery, I don’t know if my constitution is good lol or if the surgery went well, but there was less swelling than I expected. When I went to get the stitches removed, the director also said there was almost no swelling and that the line would come out nicely, so I think I felt a bit relieved then lol. Now, even without double-eyelid glue/tape, my double eyelids have settled clearly, and thanks to the posterior/lateral canthoplasty, the outer corners of my eyes opened up, making my eye shape exactly! the line I wanted❤️ I’ve heard friends ask me where I got it done so many times lol. Every time, I’ve been enthusiastically recommending Director Lee Moon-gi at ㅇㅇㄷ lol. I really wonder why I worried about it for so long, and now when I think about the days when I used to apply double-eyelid glue/tape, it’s kind of funny lol. These days, doing my eye makeup in the morning is much faster and I have no stress, so it’s so convenient! Comparing the before-and-after photos like this again makes me surprised all over again that my eyes got this much bigger... Before, I looked kind of blank, but now it definitely feels a bit more feminine, right?
