Also, since I spent the money anyway, I do sometimes think maybe I should have gotten Motiva, but it is not regret, just curiosity? About that much.
The biggest issue is that I have keloid-prone skin, so the inframammary fold incision area is slightly raised, and sometimes there is a pulling-type pain at the incision site. But my C-section scar is like that too, so I cannot really call it a side effect. On top of that, they give me steroid injections until it goes away, and they also give me ointment. They say transaxillary incision scars are less noticeable, but if you have keloid-prone skin like me, having a hypertrophic scar or keloid in the armpit would have been worse.
Even thinking about it again, I am really glad I had it done at that clinic. It is one of the good choices I have made in my life! Everyone who is thinking about it, I hope you get consultations at several places and have surgery somewhere you feel confident about!! If I can come back with a 1-year review, I will be back!
