It hasn’t completely settled yet, but I think most of the swelling has gone down, so I’m posting it The pre-op photo is of my eyes after I had already had epicanthoplasty + double eyelid surgery once At first, I was satisfied because I got double eyelids from monolid eyes, but as time went on the horizontal width looked narrow too, and I didn’t like the double eyelid line But people around me, seriously nine out of ten, told me it hadn’t even come undone, so they strongly tried to stop me from getting revision surgery.. But what is cosmetic surgery about? My own satisfaction.. I didn’t want to live with those eyes for the rest of my life. I originally liked taking selfies, but because I was dissatisfied with my eyes, I stopped taking them.. I heard revision surgery is harder than the first surgery, so I was pretty selective in choosing a clinic, but maybe because it was revision surgery, all but one place recommended an incisional method.. Well, I had expected that part too, so I did incision + ptosis correction, and redid the epicanthoplasty, and also got posterior canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty together Personally, I think doing the posterior + lower canthoplasty together was a really good decision.. Because my horizontal eye width looked narrow, when I wore contact lenses, my eyes kind of looked like dog eyes I think it improved a lot because the canthoplasty turned out well Since it was revision surgery, the swelling lasted longer, but I really went for walks twice a day, and since I heard compresses help in the early stage, I did both warm and cold compresses And after surgery, I heard a low-sodium diet is good for swelling, so at first I ate chicken porridge my mom made for me, then after 3 days I ate malatang ^^ Still, the swelling went down on its own. I tried to keep it as low-sodium as possible, but it really.. didn’t work out.. On day 3, the swelling was legendary-level severe, and I just kept my eyes closed and slept at home It’s still only been two months, so I think it’ll look even more natural once the swelling goes down a bit more
This review is a surgery review pursuing a natural-but-pretty look.
