When I was younger, I had relatively chubby cheeks, so I even had a mini liposuction procedure, but as I entered my mid-40s, the hollowing in my cheeks became severe and I was worried about it. I was debating whether to get fillers or facial fat grafting, but I thought my own fat would probably be better, so I decided on fat grafting. They said the director had even been featured in some book of renowned doctors, and that it was a hospital specializing in facial fat grafting and liposuction, so I trusted them and chose it. It was a long time ago, so I don’t remember the recovery period or the progress process exactly, but at the time of surgery, a nurse misplaced the anesthetic injection and hit a nerve in my hand, so it hurt tremendously, and afterward I had to receive physical therapy at an orthopedic clinic for several months. What matters most is the surgical result. At first, it looked like the hollow areas had improved, but after about a year, they gradually returned to how they were before. Compared with the hardship I went through from two surgeries and the aftereffects, the maintenance period was too short, and the effect fell short of my expectations. If I had known it would be like this, I really regret not choosing a simple filler procedure instead. From the first consultation to the final follow-up consultation, my consultations with the director overall felt like they were being rushed to finish, and I remember not feeling any sincerity in the medical care.
