First of all, the anesthetic injection didn't hurt, but they made an incision, had me open and close my eyes, stitched it, and did both sides like that, so it took about 40 minutes to an hour. Then they cut the right side open one more time and redid it. Maybe the anesthesia was wearing off, but when they redid the right side, it hurt so much I thought I was going to die.. Even when they told me to open my eyes, I couldn't open them... The postoperative line seems to have been set thinly and nicely, maybe because I'm a man, but now I actually have some questions.. They told me to do cold compresses after surgery. Do I have to do them all day? Yesterday, as soon as I got home, I didn't watch TV or use the computer and just kept doing cold compresses from 9 until before I went to sleep. I slept one night and woke up today, but do I have to spend all of today with my eyes closed, just doing cold compresses and listening to the radio..? My mom says not to look at either the computer or TV... So.. What are you originally supposed to do after ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery? And when I open my eyes, should I open them wide? Honestly, for me, just keeping my eyes closed is the most comfortable. It doesn't hurt when my eyes are closed. But I don't know whether keeping my eyes open helps the line settle well, or whether it's better to just keep my eyes closed and keep doing cold compresses.. I'm bored staying at home, so I'm using the computer for a moment now, but I feel like it might be bad for my eyes... When I'm doing cold compresses and get a text, I get curious and open my eyes again, ah... I don't know what to do. Please give me some advice.
