Is it usually not possible to reuse autologous costal cartilage?? I used autologous costal cartilage for my first nose surgery, and at that time, I heard from the consultation manager that if I had revision surgery later, reusing the autologous costal cartilage would also be possible. But after visiting hospitals for consultations, there were 3 hospitals that said autologous costal cartilage couldn’t be used, and 1 hospital that said it was possible. I didn’t go to more consultations at other hospitals, but.. I was wondering whether the doctor needs to use new material to achieve the shape they want..
