<Before abdominal liposuction><Day 1 after abdominal liposuction><Day 1 after abdominal liposuction>I had my consultation on July 12, and because of various personal matters, I scheduled my surgery date at that first consultation for yesterday, October 10! I finished my first liposuction surgery. I had been a bit chubby since middle school, and my dieting started in high school when I first tried an herbal medicine diet. There may have been times when I was at a normal weight, but I have never once been skinny in my life. I’m the type who gains weight very easily, I had a big appetite, and I liked eating, so that made it even more true. As for diets I’ve tried so far, I’ve tried everything except the recently released injectables (Saxenda, Wegovy, Mounjaro). When I first tried Western or herbal diet pills, my appetite dropped completely and I lost like 10 kg in a month, but as I kept taking the medication, I developed tolerance, and eventually at some point I was only maintaining instead of losing. Spending this much money on medication just to maintain.... I got annoyed and angry, so I stopped taking the pills too. Then I gained even more weight. Medication - weight maintenance - stopped medication - yo-yo ㅎㅎㅎ It’s not like I only took diet pills either; since I was 20, there has never been a time when I didn’t exercise for more than 3 months... Boxing, tennis, badminton, personal training, Pilates, I tried all kinds of things in rotation. The money I spent on PT alone was over 10 million won, and I also spent around 20 million won on famous diet procedures, but they had no effect. That’s how I ended up in my early 30s now, hitting 97 kg. Wow, I wondered if I was even human, but when I actually saw that number, I just gave up, with this vague feeling of how am I supposed to lose it., Then the one thing I had said I would never do was liposuction. But when I got to the point where I thought it would be better to die than live with such low self-esteem at that weight, liposuction didn’t feel scary anymore. Once I started thinking that whether something went wrong during it or I stayed like this and something went wrong, it was all about the same, from then on my phone search rankings were all liposuction. That’s my historyㅎㅎㅎ Now I’ll write the review. ------------------------------------------------------ As I said above, I’m 160 cm and 97-98 kg, with super morbid obesity. My BMI was over 40ㅠ So I looked only for places that could definitely do large-volume liposuction and had many reviews from people with severe obesity, and from the beginning I requested a consultation with the intention of doing full-body liposuction. There are many clinics, but the first consultation I went to was a clinic in Apgujeong. By personality, I’m not the type to visit several places in person, but I do tons of online research, so I made the consultation appointment after already gathering a huge amount of information. My consultant was Manager Jang Kyung-eun, and I was touched because she treated me like a really close older sister and seemed to worry about me more than I worried about myselfㅎㅎ I’m such a hardcore T, so I couldn’t react properly thoughㅋㅋㅋ While showing me reviews from other people who had full-body liposuction, she said I could become like this too. Let’s not give up. Honestly, isn’t this weight you gained because you couldn’t manage yourself? This is your chance. You came to the right place. This time, remove all the fat, manage your diet and care, and you absolutely have to lose visceral fat too. She was speaking, and because she hit me with facts, rather than feeling hurt, it was all so trueㅋㅋㅋ So I just decided to do it there. I paid the reservation deposit that day, and they also checked my anemia level. She said 12 is the borderline normal value, and if it’s lower than that, I couldn’t have surgery. Mine came out exactly 12, so she said it was possible, but since I still had 3 months left, I must make sure to take iron supplements. From then on, I took liquid iron supplements (pills cause constipation), and on the day of surgery my anemia level had gone up to 13.1, so I went into surgery without issue. They asked me to come in by 11 a.m., and as soon as I arrived, they gave me the prescription first and told me to go to the pharmacy and get the medication, so I went and came back. They said surgery would start around 12-1, and around 12:15, while I was having the final consultation with the consultant, the severity of the pubic area, which had been hidden by the severity of my abdomen, was revealed, and she asked how about doing it together. She said it would look strange if only this area stuck out, so I said okay and even paid the additional amountㅎㅎ So we decided to start first with the front abdomen and pubic area. She said the vice director would come later and mark the design, and emphasized before leaving that I should say I would manage myself well, so please remove as much as possible no matter whatㅋㅋㅋ (The manager is cute.) When the vice director looked at me, he said that because a lot of fat had already accumulated and the skin was stretched, there could be sagging after liposuction. He said I needed to know that. I had also asked about a lift during the first consultation, but they said a lift would become a bigger matter, and not to think that far yet; since I’m still young, if I wear the compression garment well and manage well, I might not need a lift, so I said okay. I didn’t want to go as far as a lift either. Anyway, after the design was done and I went all the way into the operating room, I was so nervous ㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷ The anesthesia staff said, “○○○, we’re starting anesthesia~” and I saw the milk-colored injection with my eyes, but from the moment it went in, I have no memory. That was around 1:10, and when I opened my eyes after it was over, it was 4. The anesthesia hadn’t completely worn off yet, so there was no pain, but unlike other people’s reviews, I had no dizziness, nausea, or anything like that at all. The next day, the manager told me that even though I didn’t have my entire abdomen done, they removed 6100 cc from the front abdomen alone, and she said that if it goes over 5000 cc, they give plasma and iron. I think thanks to this injection, I didn’t have symptoms like dizziness!! Wearing the compression garment, without staggering at all, on a rainy day without even an umbrellaㅋㅋㅋ I caught a taxi and headed home. While sitting in the taxi, I guess the pain slowly started. More than my abdomen, the upper thigh area, or that panty-line area, the Y-zone (pubic area), hurt like crazyㅠㅠㅠ When I got home and looked, because of gravity, all the fluid had gone down toward the pubic area, so it was very swollen and quite bruised. To the point that I wondered if this was really my body. My Y-zone felt like it was burning. Even though I had fasted for 18 hours before surgery, the pain was so much stronger than hunger that, wow.... First I ate some soup and lay down. From then on, I used warm compresses. Originally, it says to use cold compresses for about 3 days immediately after surgery, but first of all I didn’t have anything for cold compresses, and I wanted blood circulation to improve so the swelling would go down a bit, so I used warm compresses all through the early morning. Surprisingly, the swelling went down a little. It’s day 1 now, and of course there is swelling, but compared to the day of surgery yesterday, I feel like I can live. Now that the pubic pain has eased a bit, I’m starting to feel the abdominal pain little by little. My lower abdomen hurts so, so much. It’s fine when I’m just still, but when I stand up after sitting, sit down, lie down, or get up after lying down ㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷ And when I take off the compression garment to apply povidone, when the tight part catches on my lower abdomen, wow, I thought I was going to be cut in twoㅋㅋㅋ To do the full body, I’ll still need at least 2 more sessions, but even though I only did the front abdomen and the swelling is considerable, the change is visible right away, so I guess enduring it is the right thing. As long as I can become prettierㅠㅠㅠㅠ They say that when normal people look down at their stomach from above, they can see their feet, but before liposuction I couldn’t see my toes at all. But even on the day of surgery, wearing the compression garment, I could see my feetㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I took a photo today after taking off the compression garment, and even with swelling, seeing both feet so clearly made me tear upㅠㅠ The difference in abdominal volume is clearly visibleㅠㅠ I can endure this level of pain. Now I also have to diet, and I’m eating a huge pot of seaweed soup I made. My mom asked if I had given birth or somethingㅋㅋ but it’s so the swelling goes down well. I also ordered swelling teaㅋㅋㅋㅋ (But in the middle of this, I ate rice cake...) After liposuction, I’m also planning to use Mounjaro in parallel. It was long, but that wraps up my day 1 abdominal liposuction reviewㅎㅎㅎ I’ll bring another review at the 1-week mark, so please wait for it!!
