Implant type and size: Motiva 335 (left), 355 (right) Incision method: transaxillary incision These days, I’m living with such high satisfaction that I wonder why I worried about the surgery for so long. I guess it’s true that worrying only delays time. In my case, after childbirth and breastfeeding, my already small breasts became even more saggy, and year after year I kept losing confidence. Then, with my husband’s encouragement, I made up my mind and had the surgery. I really, really think I made the right decision. First of all, my breasts were uneven, and the right side sagged more and looked unsightly. But Director Ok Jae-jin chose the size and options well for me, so now I feel both sides have become breasts that look just right. Unfortunately, I wasn’t one of the lucky ones to have a painless experience, so the day of surgery and the next few days were quite difficult. Especially getting up from lying down was hard, and at first the transaxillary incision felt so uncomfortable that I wondered if I had made the wrong choice, but after about a month, I’m glad I chose the transaxillary incision. Even if recovery is slower, I didn’t want visible scars. For the transaxillary incision area, I think it really won’t be noticeable as long as I keep applying scar ointment consistently. When I had my surgical consultation, I had no sense of what breast size would be like, and after surgery they looked huge because of swelling. Now they look like breasts with just the right amount of volume, so I’m very, very satisfied.
