There aren’t many posts about fat grafting, so I’m posting this in case it helps. I didn’t like the shape of my nose, so I had revision surgery last fall, but I ended up getting an infection, so the silicone was removed and fat taken from my thigh was injected. I had sedation anesthesia. The bridge did become straight and higher, but after sleeping overnight, you can see it gradually going down a bit. ㅠ.ㅠ. I’m someone who swells and bruises easily, but there is absolutely no swelling or bruising. I removed the tape after 3 days because I had to go to work. If it weren’t for the tape, I could have gone about daily life even after one day. Personally, I prefer a half-curved nose line, but fat alone doesn’t produce that smooth, natural curve. It only makes it look high and straight. My nose was very short, so I forced the tissue under the nose (columella) to go in as much as possible, but the doctor kept muttering under his breath.. Just as the doctor said, almost all of it disappeared again after 3 days. They also put some into my upper lip as a bonus, but that thing is persistent and didn’t go away, so I walk around wearing a mask. My already long philtrum, it stretched and now looks like a monkey’s, or even a dog’s, It’s swollen, peeling, and stings, and unless you’re planning to rest at home for more than a week, I don’t recommend it. I thought I might get my forehead done next time too, but unless I take a long vacation, it seems impossible. They told me to come back in 2 to 3 months.. I think it’ll probably fade within a month. I ended up having to get it done several times unintentionally.. Surgery... honestly, every time I get it, it’s frightening.
