Real Review of Fat Grafting to the Under-Eye Smile Line

<Before><After>This year, I felt like the volume in my face was gradually decreasing and my skin elasticity was dropping, making me look older than people my age, so I was really concerned. Then I saw a lot of recommendations online for micro fat grafting to the under-eye smile line as a simple way to get a more youthful effect, so after thinking about it for a few months, I had it done at Fresh Hong Doctor. To give the conclusion first, I’m very satisfied! Thanks to the under-eye smile line, my midface looks shorter, and when I smile, I feel like I look cuter. It was my first time having fat removed and injected, so I was a bit scared, but they explained everything so kindly, and the procedure time was really short. Right after it was done, the under-eye smile line felt slightly heavy, but there was no pain, so I wondered, “Is it really finished?” and checked again in the mirror lol At first, there was some swelling and bruising, but my left eye barely had any bruising, and only under my right eye there was bruising like under-eye eyeliner. After a few days, the bruising and swelling went down quickly. I didn’t do any special care, but I think it’s because I don’t tend to swell much in general. After about 2 weeks, the bruising was pretty much not visible at all? The fat was harvested from my abdomen, and that area felt more sore than the under-eye smile line, so it did hurt for a few days. It felt like I had done several hundred sit-ups? Still, for me, the abdominal pain was almost completely gone after about 2 weeks.  I usually have a habit of rubbing my eyes, but since I couldn’t press or irritate the under-eye smile line, holding that back was a bit difficult.. Also, during the engraftment period, I couldn’t exercise or diet, so holding back from that was also a bit hard.. So even though I originally wasn’t supposed to, I did exercise very briefly at an extremely low intensity, but since they say the fat can disappear if you do it wrong, I think it’s best not to do it if possible lolol During the first week, there was some swelling, and since the fat had just been injected, it felt firm? It was plump and cute, but it felt a little unnatural. By 2 weeks, the shape settled naturally and the swelling was gone, so now even with a bare face, it looks like I’ve done shadow makeup for the under-eye smile line. I really like how it looks now. But since it is autologous fat after all, I don’t know how the engraftment rate will turn out, so I’m planning to go for a retouch after 3 months! If you want to look naturally younger, I recommend considering it at least once!!
