I had surgery on December 22 (Saturday).. So this Saturday will be exactly one month. Before, after surgery, I posted photos without removing the tape.. But I deleted them after just one day.. ^^;;; Really, the only surgeries I’d ever had were a stye surgery, and a tonsillectomy when I was little, so I was really worried, but I had sedation anesthesia and it seriously didn’t hurt at all. For about 3 days, my ear throbbed a bit ^^ As you can see, the front photos are before and the later ones are after. Before, the area between my eyebrows was really flat, basically nonexistent. When I went for the consultation, the doctor said that if it were up to him, raising it by 5 mm would probably be okay, but because my skin is thin, if it was raised too much it could show through, so I raised it by about 2-3 mm. I asked them to make it as natural and unnoticeable as possible.. It’s really amazing how people say my features look more defined.. They say my eyes look bigger, but they don’t know it’s my nose. It’s really amazing.. Even a friend who used to see me every day, when I met her after about 3 weeks, said, "It seems like the area between your eyebrows got a bit higher." And even while touching that area, she still didn’t know. Actually, the nasal tip is hard and hurts a bit if I touch it, but the area between my eyebrows doesn’t hurt at all even if I press it or anything. haha Anyway, I had it done because they said it was a procedure with no bruising and no swelling, and even though the clinic said I was the first person they’d seen swell and bruise as much as I did, there was no dark purple bruising, and I had yellow bruising for about 10 days. I met my boyfriend on day 13, and he didn’t notice at all...^^ Oh, for about 3-4 days after taking the tape off, I was a bit depressed. My nostrils looked huge, and I had yellow bruises too... If anyone is worried and depressed because of swelling, time will gradually take care of it, so don’t worry too much. ^^ The bruising on my ear was really severe. You know those dark black bruises.. Not only my ear but even my neck was bruised.. After about 2 weeks it turned yellow, and after about 3 weeks it was okay.. Except for the tip of my nose being a bit hard, I’m very satisfied. Even though I had a complex about my nose and was very sensitive about it, I used to be strongly against plastic surgery. But if plastic surgery can fix someone’s complex, give them confidence, and help them move in a more positive direction, I highly recommend it.. Of course, if it’s excessive, it can become harmful... ^^. I had silicone, 2-3 mm, ear cartilage, closed approach, and sedation anesthesia.
