Did the bone not fuse?../

It's been a little over 2 months since my jaw and cheekbone surgery,, I had an X-ray taken today, but even when I look at it, I can't really tell whether there is a gap.. The radiology doctor said the parts fixed with wire are still fixed well, and there is no inflammation in the bone or anything like that, but next to the wires, the bones on both cheekbones look a bit separated. They said this varies depending on the surgical method, so I should talk to the doctor who operated on me. I don't know whether they did something so that the opened area would fill in over time, but they said that if the bones of someone who hadn't had surgery looked like mine, it would be a finding seen in someone who was injured. Next to the wires, the bone looked really wide open,, Does this mean the bone hasn't fused?? When people who have had cheekbone surgery get X-rays, is it normal for the cheekbone not to appear round and for both ends to look empty in a triangular shape?? I can't tell by looking, and I'm going crazy.ㅜ.ㅜ
