It’s now been a year and a half since I had two-jaw surgery and square jaw surgery with Director Lee Jin-su, and as of today, the post-surgical orthodontic treatment I was doing at Faceline is also finished. I originally had a lot of concerns because of an underbite and asymmetry, and it was severe enough that even chewing food was difficult. You can think of it as similar to the people who appeared on Let Me In when we were younger. The case I remember most was a person who had a nevus, and after seeing a post saying that person had surgery at Faceline, I came here without even hesitating. Honestly, in the beginning, the swelling was severe and there were many restrictions, so it was really hard and I even regretted it. Of course alcohol and smoking were off-limits, and I also took a month off from the exercise I had been doing. But as my face gradually got smaller and corrected, I kept finding myself looking forward to how I would look. That process made me so happy, and because people around me said a lot of nice things, I think my self-esteem also went up a lot. Lookism is really scary, but after surgery and becoming prettier, social perceptions really changed. Putting aside the cost of surgery and how hard the process was, my life changed thanks to Faceline, so even if I went back, it would be this place, and I would make the same choice.
