It's day 8 after my revision surgery. When the tape was on, I thought the nose shape made it worth getting the revision. But yesterday at the clinic, the moment they removed the tape and I looked in the mirror, I was shocked. My nose was too big and awkward, and I thought, ah, I shouldn't have done it! Regret suddenly came flooding in. Maybe I was too greedy. My face also seemed to look older. ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ My younger sibling also said the nose doesn't seem to suit me, ahhhhh On top of that, my nostrils are different sizes. The doctor reassured me, saying it's because the swelling is different, but I had surgery because the cartilage at my nasal tip was crooked and uneven. You can't tell when just looking at it, but it showed in photos, so I debated whether to do it or not and then got the surgery. This damn plastic surgery is a worry whether you do it or don't do it. Anyway, yesterday I pulled myself together and the sebum, the ridiculous sebum -_- I removed it, and even though they told me not to touch my nose at all, I just couldn't stand it, so I used a nose strip twice. Then as soon as I woke up, I looked at my nose in the mirror.. It was better than yesterday. The awkward feeling had also decreased a bit. It's okay, I think I got the nasal tip and bridge I wanted.. comforting myself.. Reading many people's reviews here and asking questions helped me a lot. I'm leaving this review as if writing a graduation post. Now I just hope the swelling goes down and the nostril sizes even out a bit. I think plastic surgery really has to succeed on the first try. Based on my experience, I'll write a few things to consider before surgery. 1. Natural beauty is best. Give up the fantasy that there will be a dramatic effect. 2. If you decide you really need surgery, fully learn about the surgical methods, implants, and other characteristics of the area you want to have done. 3. Before going for an in-person consultation, make full use of online consultations. For photos, wear a headband and take detailed shots from the front, left, right, and with your chin lifted. This can make the consultation more accurate. 4. Choose at least 10 clinics and get consultations. Every doctor has a different surgical method. 5. Make sure to clearly confirm post-surgery A/S policies. Since side effects may occur, it is good to leave evidence of the surgical consultation, whether in writing or as an audio recording. Unless it is a very major side effect, clinics absolutely do not give refunds. Recording is also a good method in case opinions differ later. (Recording a conversation between yourself and another person does not violate the law.) Do not believe doctors who say it will definitely go well and there will be no side effects. There is no 100% certain surgery. Once a knife is put to you, it cannot be undone, so clearly communicate your desired requirements. 6. When you go for a consultation, bring photos of the model you want and photos of yourself. If you consult by just saying, "Please make it natural" or "Please make it like this person," there may not be enough communication with the doctor, and satisfaction after surgery can be low. This is written purely from my own experience. I'm writing this because I think it may help before surgery. As you get a little older, whether someone's nose is low or their eyes are small, people are all born with their own harmony. Having confidence in yourself. More than surgery, what makes a person look more attractive is confidence, I think. The post ended up getting long. Lastly, to explain the photos.. The first photo is my nose before surgery. It was a short, low nose, only 4.3 in length. The second is after the first surgery. I was satisfied with the side line, but the front nasal cartilage was crooked, so overall the nose wasn't pretty. The tip looked round and crooked.. and the nostrils looked like rabbit nostrils too. The third is the side view after this surgery. The glabella area and nasal tip are still plump, but I think it will be okay once the swelling goes down.^^ I'll just post the clinic information here. I have to go to the provinces for a few days, so I don't think I'll be able to come into this community for a while. I had it done at Gangnam ㅅㅈㅇ. Both the first surgery and the revision. For the first surgery, silicone was used for the nasal bridge, and because my nose length was short, several layers of ear cartilage were placed at the nasal tip. For the second surgery, they used silicone that was a little higher and wider, wrapped the silicone with fascia, used ear cartilage, and used Medpor for the nasal tip.
