While thinking about a third rhinoplasty, before going for the medical consultation, I searched through a lot of blogs and reviews. I thought the director’s skills seemed really good. I went with the feeling that even if it was expensive, I wanted to do it here, but first of all, communication with the director didn’t go well. Since I’m not an expert, it would have been easier to understand if he had explained things in a way I could follow, but I kept thinking, what does this mean.. Since we couldn’t communicate well with each other, maybe the director was frustrated too, because he said it was a difficult nose and that if I wasn’t uncomfortable, I should just not do it.. Somehow it felt like I was being scolded, and I think I came out of the consultation feeling hopeless, thinking whether I just had to live with my nose as it is without being able to do anything. I felt that skill is important, but communication is really important too.
