It’s been 3 weeks and 1 day since I had revision double-eyelid surgery. My left eye is fine, but I don’t know if the swelling in my right eye hasn’t gone down enough... my eyes look uneven, and I even developed an extra crease When I went to the clinic at week 2, they checked the swelling and said I should get a triamcinolone injection at week 4, but when I searched triamcinolone injections, there seemed to be a lot of side effects..? What I’m curious about is: 1. Could the extra crease have formed because of swelling in my right eye? (If the swelling goes down, will the extra crease naturally disappear too?) 2. It seems like triamcinolone injections are often used for sausage-like eyelids; would it be okay for me to get one? (Or should I go to another clinic for a consultation? -> I heard it’s hard to consult after getting a triamcinolone injection) I searched a lot to see if anyone had a case like mine, but couldn’t find anything Would it be better to get the triamcinolone injection, or not get it and just wait a little longer for the swelling to go down?
익명 They do say it’s okay if you get a small amount of triamcinolone, but I also heard that if it’s done wrong, it can make adhesions and things like that a bit worse. From the photo, rather than simple swelling, it looks like scar tissue has risen on the inner side of the eye, so I think getting the injection would be good.

익명 [@삐용v] It could be like that because of scar tissue, but I’m not sure about that extra crease. For now, I was talking about the overall inner side of the line looking a bit puffy. It looks like scar tissue has risen inside the line.

노랑갈비 Your eyes are similar to mine. I’m at week 3 too, and one of my eyes is exactly the same as yours; it’s because of scar tissue. The clinic told me to wait and see, so I’m waiting... How is it now??
