Nose Surgery Reviews

A long-term review after 10 years of rhinoplasty

10 years ago, I had rhinoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic near Gangnam Station, known at the time for doing fancy-yet-natural noses well, by a director who was then a salaried doctor. They said I had enough septal cartilage, so ear cartilage wouldn’t be needed, but it turned out donor costal cartilage had also been used; I only found that out 10 years later while going around for revision-surgery consultations. Also, at the time my nose came out too long, like Squidward’s nose, so I went back to the same hospital for a revision consultation, but I was flustered when they said that director had already left.. Fortunately, the head director took on the revision surgery, but after that I suffered for about 6 months from inflammation where it became red and hot. The shape was fine. But now, 10 years later, I’m getting revision consultations because of problems with deviation and the nasal tip sinking. I wonder if the donor costal cartilage might be the cause.
