Line-lowering excision and lagophthalmos

Is there anyone here who had surgery like me and then got better? The director said that at first, the eyes might not close all the way because of swelling, but from what I feel, I don’t think it’s because of swelling..

For me, it was revision surgery for line-lowering incisional ptosis correction. My existing line was unbelievably high, and the ptosis correction hadn’t been done properly either, so I could only open my eyes halfway... Out of 8 places, 7 said I needed a double-eyelid lowering procedure, and only one place said skin excision was possible..! After thinking it over, I had revision surgery at the place that said skin excision was possible. I had 5 mm of skin removed, and since I also had ptosis correction redone, I had a little lagophthalmos for the first few days, but after about 3? 4? days, it disappeared! I feel like the director who operated on you probably wouldn’t have cut out skin without checking first..! Try not to be too anxious and wait with a calmer mind.

If you went to several consultations, weren’t the opinions divided between double-eyelid lowering vs excision..?? If several places said excision was okay, maybe it’ll get better over time? Even with double-eyelid lowering, a lot of people get lagophthalmos at first.

[@쾅일아] I had it done near Sinsa Station, but I’m so unhappy with the surgery right now and regret it a lot. I don’t know what to do, so I can’t tell you the clinic name..

[@쾅일아] Thank you.. I didn’t have posterior/lower canthoplasty.. I was extremely stressed because of the lagophthalmos, the line not being to my liking, and the ptosis correction seeming uneven.. I really think surgery has to be approached carefully. I wanted to become prettier, but I wish I could turn back time.

[@쾅일아] Thank you The place where I was told to do double-eyelid lowering was VN. I also went to Eunhasu for a consultation, and at Eunhasu they said excision! They say I have to wait a month, but as time goes by it isn’t getting better, so I’m getting impatient and anxious. I know I shouldn’t cry every time I look in the mirror, but I’ve been crying a lot, so it’s a big problem

I also had line lowering and developed lagophthalmos, so I’m really worried.... It’s exactly the same as you, OP I really never even imagined something like this.. How is it now? It’s been about 8 days since my surgery..

[@] I guess clinics all say the same thing.. I don’t know exactly what ptosis correction refers to, so my current status is that I had upper canthoplasty, the double-line technique, epicanthoplasty restoration, and posterior-lower canthoplasty....

How is it now? What’s the difference between one line and two lines? Is it the difference in the number of lines when stitching?
