The surgery I regret the most out of all the surgeries I’ve had I went to get rid of nasolabial folds, but my nasolabial folds became longer and worse. I went only to get liposuction on the cheek fat beside the nasolabial folds, but they designed it to remove a large amount from the anterior cheeks. They said they only recommend what is necessary, so I thought, oh, maybe I have fat in my anterior cheeks aesthetically, and if I remove it I’ll look prettier. The consultation didn’t even last 30 seconds, and I decided to remove the anterior cheek fat. When I asked whether removing the anterior cheek fat would get rid of the nasolabial folds, they didn’t give me a definite answer. They just said the step-off would look a bit more even. I shouldn’t have done it here. I came planning to have surgery right after the consultation, so I couldn’t think of not doing it. On top of that, they said doing the lateral cheeks too would make my face slimmer and prettier, so even though I went only for nasolabial fold liposuction, I ended up having anterior cheek + lateral cheek treatment. The result was that after removing the anterior cheek fat, maybe the firmness that had been supporting my face dropped, and my nasolabial folds became extremely long like an old woman’s wrinkles. My nasolabial folds were deep, but they weren’t long, and now even the length became longer. After removing fat from the lateral cheeks and anterior cheeks, the fat that had supported my face disappeared, so the overall firmness dropped, the face shape that had been slim started sagging, and my face shape was ruined. Overall, my face drooped and became aged. It is the surgery I regret the most out of all the surgeries I’ve had, and it’s a surgery I wish I could turn back time on.. I went for nasolabial fold liposuction, but my face shape was ruined and I gained aging.
