Hello, everyone. ^^ I promised everyone here that I would post a review, but because of my busy daily life, I am only posting now. I did not want to post a sloppy review, so I kept putting it off day by day, and before I knew it, it has already been nearly 5 months since my surgery. Time really seems to pass quickly. I keep putting off the things I had always planned and hoped to do. I’m sorry ... I’m going to keep my promise today. I had full-face fat grafting on January 26. My temples in particular lost volume noticeably, so I had that area retouched on February 26, exactly one month later. A retouch is not unconditional; within one month, for patients who lose more fat than normal, they supplement it for free, and in my case I had my temple area done. The doctor also said that more had been lost than expected and suggested putting in a bit more, so on February 26, fat was injected into my temples. They also lightly supplemented the shadowed area under my cheekbones. I had been highly satisfied with the first procedure, and because I trusted the doctor, I finished the procedure without much worry and came home. They said the swelling would be less for the second round.....but honestly, the second round looked more unnatural on me. The temple area in particular protruded, and because of the swelling......it was definitely more awkward than the first round, when the supplementation was done overall. More than anything, during the first round, by the 3-week mark I wondered if too much had disappeared from my temples ... but after the second round, there was definitely less loss. Before correction, my forehead was the part of my face I liked the most......even my boyfriend said my forehead had become strange. I also wondered whether I should have communicated with the doctor more thoroughly, and I personally realized that the reviews saying the second round loses less volume were true. Haha I just waited because I had heard that fat continues to decrease until two or three months later. I trusted the doctor I chose, and as I spent each day busily, it suddenly became June. I had been a little worried because of the temple supplementation on February 26, but after about two months, it became natural. I even cut bangs for the first time in 10 years so I would not think about it too much. Haha After the supplementation, I worried whether too much had been injected....but I am glad I trusted and followed the doctor’s judgment. After orthodontic treatment, the areas that had hollowed out the most were my temples, the area under my cheekbones...and the nasolabial fold area....and overall, I had developed many fine wrinkles...but overall it improved, and my satisfaction is also high. If possible, I had planned to do the second round around May, when the fat would be fully engrafted. But these days I have been so busy that I still have not been able to do it. During that time, I have never felt that too much fat had disappeared and that I needed to hurry with the second round, nor have I ever felt doubtful about the hospital I chose. I make a lot of facial expressions. Because my eyesight is poor, I use the area between my eyebrows a lot (I have severe dry eye, so wearing contacts is difficult, but for the sake of engraftment I neglected wearing glasses). I tried to be careful, but I laugh a lot. I tend to laugh broadly....and after orthodontic treatment, I laugh without showing my teeth. On days when I have classes, I cannot help but talk a lot...and on top of that, I am rather talkative. Haha I knew that for engraftment it is better to limit facial expressions, but I could not really do that. Also, I was not feeling well midway through and had a hard time. Fortunately, the fat did not disappear as much as I had thought, but areas with a lot of facial movement definitely had more loss than other areas. In particular, the nasolabial fold area (the doctor had said from the beginning that this area would need to be done several times) lost a lot. When I wrote my review in this community three months ago, I was cautious because I worried my post might look like advertising, and because my personal satisfaction could differ from other members’. I also felt burdened about giving hospital information to members who asked for it. Several people who had surgery after seeing my information sent me messages, so I became even more cautious. Now I’m glad I can write with a more relaxed mind. ^^ After surgery, I no longer hear people say I look unwell like before or beg me to gain some weight. Because of orthodontic treatment, I had suddenly felt like I had become an old lady, but these days I hear that I look younger. The things I was most worried about (lumpiness, disappearing too quickly, overinjection, Indian bands), and so on, are not present either. Since I had surgery during orthodontic treatment, I was worried that orthodontics might interfere with fat engraftment, but perhaps because I did the fat grafting after the extraction spaces had closed, it does not seem to have had a major effect. Because I make many facial expressions, the areas around my eyes, between my eyebrows, around my mouth, and the areas of the overall facial contour where I use expression a lot have lost a little volume. I had planned a second round from the beginning....so I plan to have the second round. For the second round, I plan to focus more on refining the face rather than using a large amount. More than anything, I believe the doctor will judge and decide. I wrote a long review after the first round. The things I wanted to tell everyone here were already written thoroughly then. It feels like only yesterday that I had surgery in the cold winter....time really passes so quickly. It is a shame that the flower-like spring seems to have passed so quickly. Spring...such a pretty season....I caught a cold and suffered for a while. Please take care of your health. Be happy. p.s: I’m finally keeping my promise now. I’m so sorry to those I promised. I will take the photos down in a few days. I really hope you see them this time. The first photo is 3 days after the supplementation...my forehead is no joke, right? Maybe because only my temples were supplemented....it looked very awkward. Because of schoolwork that had piled up, I lived in the library looking like that. Haha I didn’t even know to be embarrassed. Now my temples are just right. ^^ I lost my digital camera in the middle, so I couldn’t even take photos, but I bought one again and have been taking pictures. I gained too much weight ....so I’m exercising now. I’m trying to lose some weight before the second round. ^^ Since I am spending hectic days, I may not be able to leave detailed and quick replies, so I want to apologize in advance. If you have any questions, I’ll answer them when I have time. Before surgery, I also had so many questions, so I wanted to be very helpful.....but using being busy as an excuse, I am only now leaving a review. Still, it feels like I finished overdue homework? I feel a bit relieved.^^
