Review of thigh and buttock liposuction at a clinic in Apgujeong (Day 4)

Honestly, I’ve always had a typical body type where fat goes straight to my abdomen and lower body, and I’ve never had a thigh gap in my lifeㅠ. So this time, I really made up my mind and decided to at least clean up my thigh area, so I looked into clinics. I figured a well-known place would be safer, so I chose this one! Consultation / Preparation From the very first consultation, Manager Hyeri explained every single thing in detail. The process, surgical points, recovery routine, compression garment, and so on. So strangely, I wasn’t scared. I started fasting the day before, and on the day of surgery, I went to the clinic after getting my condition as stable as possible! Clinic atmosphere Honestly, the clinic had a strong factory-style feel. But to me, that cold atmosphere actually looked like professionalism? confidence? The busy flow, divided roles, and quick process actually felt somewhat reassuring to me, if that makes sense?? Right before surgery The consultation got a bit delayed, so the time I went in was slightly pushed back. In the operating room, I took off all my clothes and they applied red antiseptic all over my body... it was freezing. This is seriously something I could not get used to.ㅠㅠ When I opened my eyes, the surgery was over. In the recovery room, they put the compression garment on me and kept giving me orange juice, so my stomach settled. I think small care like this is surprisingly significant. When I had my arms done at another clinic before, I don’t think they had this kind of care. But on the way home, the dizziness was so severe that I threw up in the car, threw up outside, and threw up at home too.... I completely panicked. I contacted Manager Hyeri right away, and she handled it so well. The next day, I went to the clinic, got an antiemetic injection + IV fluids, and calmed down completely. For reference, they said they removed 8,700 cc from me. I think that’s why my condition dropped so sharply. They did blood tests and rechecked my blood pressure, then I rested a bit in the recovery room and went home. I’m taking iron supplements diligently, and I’m paying attention to controlling water, protein, and salt intake. Honestly, it really hurts so much, you know? But when I look in the mirror, the line has changed so much that I wonder if these are really my legs. It’s satisfying to look at. I tried forcing myself into pants at home that I couldn’t wear because of the fat on my inner thighs, and the fit came out exactly how I imagined. Oh, and the bruising wasn’t as bad as I thought, and the swelling isn’t to the point where even my toes are extremely puffy. Maybe because it’s only Day 4? Walking is easier than I expected too. But when I sit on the toilet, I tear up... when do you get used to this? It’s like doing acrobatics on the toilet; Anyway, what I was most satisfied with was the aftercare. Even when I was hit with a vomit bomb on the way home, they guided me in real time, and the next day they immediately connected me with antiemetic treatment, IV fluids, and even retesting, all very smoothly. When I ask questions, the responses are fast, and the guidance is detailed. Honestly, the surgery itself is important, but I think recovery management is half the process, and this part felt very dependable! Pros / Cons from my perspective / Pros: Visible change in the line, bruising/swelling less than expected, systematic recovery flow/aftercare, fast communication with the manager! Cons: Cold operating room (the fear is intense, but it can’t be helped) / Sitting on the toilet is a sea of tears.
