I was usually very uncomfortable because of nasal congestion, and I tossed and turned every night when sleeping, so I was considering surgery for rhinitis.
Then I came across a YouTube channel called Doctor Special, and I wanted to have a consultation at Special ENT Clinic. When I first arrived at the hospital for my appointment, I got a good impression because the hospital building was well divided by floor and seemed professional. During the appointment, Director Park explained my diagnosis, deviated nasal septum, in detail, and also took photos of my nose from various angles and showed them while explaining. Having the consultation that way helped me understand my nose better, including things I hadn’t known!
And for septoplasty for a deviated septum, they let me directly feel how my nose would become more comfortable by inserting gauze that opened up my nose, so I could personally feel the degree of that refreshing openness. Since I felt that openness in my own body, it really hit me more..! So I thought surgery for the deviated septum would be enough for the functional part of my nose, and since I had always had complexes about my bulbous nose and crooked nose, I had cosmetic surgery done together while getting the deviated septum surgery.
I was admitted on the morning of the surgery day and went into surgery, and after anesthesia, I closed my eyes and opened them, and the surgery was already over? Right afterward, there was no pain, and aside from the day of surgery being a little hard after the anesthesia wore off, there wasn’t really anything difficult. I’m two months post-op now, and even by the one-month mark the swelling went down faster than expected. Now it looks so natural and pretty that people don’t really know unless I tell them I had surgery, so I’m completely satisfied hehe
