Day 1 after surgery. After signing up, I searched through tons of reviews. But I couldn’t find anything about anesthesia. The anesthesia was so hard on me, so I’m leaving this in case it helps. Arrived at the hospital at 10. After the consultation, tried them on again and decided on the size. I think I lay down on the operating room bed around 11:30? When I woke up, it was 1:30. At that point, I was still half-asleep, and when I tried to sit up, I groaned out loud. Once I’m a little more awake, I’ll be discharged, they said, so I said yes, yes and lay there for a bit, but no matter how long I stayed, I didn’t feel better. I was dizzy and nauseous. I asked them to bring me mouthwash, and after gargling, I felt a little better. I even tried going to the bathroom on purpose, but I only dry-heaved. I kept breathing in and out and dozing off, and then it became 4:30. I drank some water and also gulped down some juice. I was still dizzy.. but I strongly felt like I wanted to go home before traffic got bad, so I packed my things and tried to leave. I got dizzy and sank back down onto the sofa. After walking five laps inside the hospital, I went downstairs around 5:30, got my prescription filled, and came home by taxi. But the doctor and the manager took such good care of me that I was touched.. I tried to eat dinner, but my mouth tasted so bitter that I couldn’t eat. I was so distracted by this that I hadn’t realized it, but the surgical site doesn’t hurt.... It’s just full of dizziness and nausea. They wrapped the compression bandage or abdominal binder so well. I slept well, fixed straight facing forward. I woke up once around 3 (probably because I usually sleep at 1-2, but fell asleep at 10:30...) I got up around 8, then in the morning I ate a little banana and toast and took my morning medicine. Even after eating, I don’t feel nauseous anymore, but my mouth still has a subtly bitter feeling. Still, I’m relieved that the surgical site doesn’t hurt and I can use my arms better than I expected. Tomorrow, once the drains and abdominal binder are removed, I’ll upload photos and another review.
