I’m a man with a bulbous nose, and it had always been such a complex for me, so I’d only been lurking here, but I finally booked an appointment 2 weeks ago and had surgery yesterday. In my case, during a previous deviated septum surgery, they cut away the part where the nasal bone was crooked and blocking the nostril, so I had insufficient septal cartilage.. So they said they would build the columella with chest cartilage and do the nasal bridge with silicone, but in the end they used chest cartilage, silicone + even ear cartilage. When the anesthesia wore off, I found my ear had been stitched up and blocked off;;; They said that during surgery, there was so little bone in my nose that they even used ear cartilage;;;; Whew... This morning I went in and had the really long?? things inside my nostrils removed, and even now blood is still very occasionally dripping a little, but the swelling is no joke lolololololololololololololololololololololololololol It’s not like I had epicanthoplasty or anything, but my eyes are pulled toward the center, and around my eyes is red like bruising ㅠㅠ My nose looks like a big cartoon nose ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ My nose was already blunt because it was bulbous, but now it feels even more blunt ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Still, the nasal bridge definitely seems higher, and even from below, the nostrils don’t spread wide; they’re lifted upward.. hmm.. it’s hard to put into words. Right now I’m just hoping the swelling goes down. I heard pumpkin juice is good and walking is good, so later I’m going to drink pumpkin juice and go for a walk. I did this during the semester;; I originally planned to do it during vacation, but I can’t wait. They told me not to blow my nose, so I’m holding it in, but phlegm mixed with blood?? keeps going backwardㅠㅠ Something like that keeps coming down,,, is this normal?ㅠㅠ Whew.. Anyway, even if I don’t become handsome, I want to overcome the complex I had because of my nose. That’s the end of my review lololololololololol Have a good day~
