The consultation ended in 3 minutes, and I was recommended incision, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction. The doctor made small talk, and the way he marked the line felt natural. He explained that my eyes are difficult for double eyelid surgery, even drawing a picture, and I already knew my eyes needed epicanthoplasty and an incision method. But I did not know about the ptosis correction during the consultation; while talking with the consultant, I heard it would be incisional ptosis correction plus epicanthoplasty. They said ptosis correction is not about eye-opening strength but about making the pupils more visible. But my eye-opening strength is really good..? I do not have sleepy-looking eyes either. But she realized I had a negative stance toward ptosis correction and said to me, "Other clinics will probably tell you to do ptosis correction too~?" And even though she is not an ophthalmologist, she suddenly told me my eye-opening strength was slightly weak lol. It was absurd for the consultant to say that... It felt like I was being gaslit, so I felt bad and decided I should not do it here. This was the first clinic I visited, so I will look around elsewhere too, but the doctor did not pressure me and definitely told me to look at other clinics as well. Anyway, I am not doing it here.
