Nose Surgery Reviews

I had revision surgery!!!!!!

I’m entering my 4th month after revision rhinoplasty for a lifted, contracted nose at 1 Percent. Even to the naked eye, my nasal bridge used to look kind of avatar-like? But a lot of the swelling has gone down, and it looks natural now. I was worried because the shape of the silicone was visible on the nasal bridge, but now it doesn’t show at all and has become natural. As the swelling in my nose has gone down overall, the nasal tip does feel like it has lowered slightly, but the tip, which looked pointed at first, is now becoming a bit more naturally rounded. The nasal tip used to be very hard and felt like I was touching someone else’s flesh. Of course, since it’s autologous costal cartilage, there is still a fixed feeling, but the dull, heavy sensation feels like it has eased a bit. It feels like it is gradually blending naturally with my face? I’m satisfied because it feels like my nose is settling into place. My nostrils are also gradually finding their proper position as the swelling goes down.  The scar at the area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested is gradually fading. After suture removal, for about a week I used an ointment and patches to help reduce scarring, and it is currently healing naturally. When wearing sunglasses or glasses, I’m still careful, but they cause less irritation and don’t leave marks as easily, so the swelling has gone down to a satisfying degree. They say swelling after revision rhinoplasty continues to go down for about 6 months, so I’m looking forward to how my nose will look in a few months.

This review is a surgery review pursuing a natural yet glamorous look.
