<Narrow, average horizontal length, and tons of orbital fat: that’s my eyes> Detailed review of two consultations written for eyes like mine Use this as reference if your eyes are similar I’m absolutely not a broker!! I booked one more place (ㅇㅁㄷ), but their appointments are so backed up... so I’m writing about these two first I just want to succeed with my first surgery without bad luck, and I’m so busy I don’t even have time for revision surgery.. So I pushed for incision no matter what lol The reason I’m getting double eyelid surgery in the first place is to get LASIK/LASEK, because wearing a mask and glasses keeps tearing the skin behind my ears.. If I describe my desired look, it’s an in-out line like Giselle’s, but above all, it should suit me well!!! 1. ㄴㅅㅎ (ㄱㅈㅎ) First, when I was making an appointment by KakaoTalk, I just sent a message at 9 p.m. and got a reply, so I was taken aback... It’s not quite appointment pressure, but there is some encouragement. Still, even if you refuse, I don’t think they’d act rude. (But my mom came with me to the consultation... Maybe it was because my mom looks super strong-willed..) - There was no consultation fee, but they didn’t take photos or anything - Doctor’s estimate: A little lacking, but not to the degree of ptosis; however, there is a little sign of opening the eyes with the eyebrows and forehead. <Eye shape correction needed.> Because after double eyelid surgery, it looks like it will become harder to open the eyes. The eyebrow width will also narrow, so it would be good to do it. Canthoplasty: only epicanthoplasty. Epicanthoplasty was included because it would eat into the front head of the double eyelid. -> I removed epicanthoplasty - Surgery time: 1 hour 30 minutes - Aftercare: Same day -> swelling injection + scar injection + swelling laser + medicine to wake up from sleep anesthesia Follow-up care -> swelling laser, swelling injection, scar laser, scar injection care (They said this on KakaoTalk, but the consultant said three laser sessions: laser on the same day / laser on the day stitches are removed / laser on a day I want) - A/S period: 3 years - Question about whether scars remain: Compared with non-incisional buried suture, of course incision will leave something that can be called a scar, but since I’m young, they’ll do their best to make it not remain -> But it didn’t particularly feel like confidence? More like just speaking comfortably. - Anesthesia method: I’ll be asleep for about 30 minutes, then wake up and have the surgery (doctor), Since eye shape correction is needed, they’ll wake me up and check me opening and closing my eyes two or three times so there won’t be overcorrection (consultant) - Question about fat removal (sunken eyes): Fat needs to be removed. A line can’t even be made right now... There’s muscle, so it’s fine. I can diet. Even with aging, it probably won’t sink in much.. - Deposit: 100% refund if contacted 4 business days before (bank transfer possible) - Quoted cost: incision + eye shape correction + fat removal 3.08 million won including tax -> 2.09 million won if placing a tentative reservation on the same day The line was set really prettily!! But they really did set it naturally I liked it, so I paid the deposit and came back.. The clinic was luxurious, and the front desk staff were pretty too They sent the consultation details by KakaoTalk There were quite a few people, but it felt like the flow was good? I didn’t see foreigners Oh, and there were no photo events or anything like that, so it did feel trustworthy But they also said there are no vacation events 2. ㅇㄹㅇ (ㅇㄷㅅ) First, the clinic felt very... Chinese-style? Like when I went to a Chinese aesthetic clinic.. It wasn’t exactly old, though The front desk staff were very distracted.. even the clients were distracted They made me wait insanely long Waited 10 minutes, took photos Waited 20 minutes, entered the consultation room Waited 10 minutes for the consultant Consulted with the consultant for 5 minutes Waited 20 minutes for the doctor Consulted with the doctor for about 7 minutes? Waited 15 minutes for the consultant (Isn’t that crazy?) I felt a bit offended. My consultation was at 4:30, but when I came out it was like 6:30 lol - No consultation fee, and they did take photos - Doctor’s estimate: Pseudoptosis, so it absolutely has to be done by incision. Since I have enough eye-opening strength, <eye shape correction not needed> Just do upper canthoplasty (when I asked the consultant, here upper canthoplasty = epicanthoplasty. -> Conclusion: do both.) Incisional in-out 6-7 mm - Question about fat removal (sunken eyes): Fat removal is needed, and there is a huge amount of orbital fat. Not an easy set of eyes. Thick skin, but it’s fine - Aftercare: unlimited, but they don’t do it on the day of surgery; from the next day - A/S: I think they said 1 year - Surgery time: I didn’t ask about surgery time - Anesthesia: sleep for 5 minutes for local anesthesia, then surgery while awake afterward - Quote: Since the doctor is who he is, it’s a bit expensive With Gangnam Unni review discount it’s 2.97 million, but if you pay a deposit it’s 2.5 million Since I didn’t pay, 2.97 million But in conclusion, the line the doctor set looked really greasy... I didn’t like it, so I didn’t ask many questions either The doctor’s hand shook when setting the line, and I was a bit hmm.. Also, when I didn’t pay the consultant’s deposit, she just said goodbye~ and left without even giving me a business card Oh, and there were many foreigners It was impressive how they just handed over cash envelopes after consultations.. - I showed photos at both places and proceeded with the consultations Director ㄱㅈㅎ asked for photos first, and I showed Director ㅇㄷㅅ first But Director ㄱㅈㅎ looked at the photo and said, hmm, like that? and jotted notes down,, The line is extremely natural though.... Director ㅇㄷㅅ looked and set a line for me, but? it didn’t have that feeling... It didn’t feel tailored to my eyes either, nor to my face.. It was set more glamorous than I expected? I guess a glamorous look doesn’t suit me.. Still, the doctor was good? Since there’s no consultation fee, it’s worth at least getting a consultation?.. After seeing the reputation, I was in a devastated state, but after the consultation I feel more certain Oh, and Director ㄱㄷㅎ is a specialist, so why are people saying he isn’t a specialist?....
