When people around me heard I was getting double eyelid surgery, they all strongly opposed it, saying monolids are so charming, so why get double eyelid surgery? But for me, makeup was really hard to do, and even if I drew thick eyeliner, it didn’t show at all. When I applied things like eyeshadow, my eyes somehow looked puffy and a bit like an elementary school student’s eyes, so I was really stressed.. That’s why I decided to get double eyelid surgery.
It was my first cosmetic surgery in my life, and I think I felt really unsettled up until the day before surgery. But now, I didn’t get any canthoplasty or anything else, just double eyelid surgery, and I feel like I’ve really changed a lot, so I’m super, super happy. Also, I didn’t have swelling or bruising, so I didn’t do any special aftercare hehe My eyes became so pretty that I also think I should’ve done it sooner. And since even the friends around me who told me not to do it now say the surgery turned out really well, it makes me feel even better for no reason hahaha
