Breast Surgery Same-Day (Day 1) Review by Time of Day

Same day, Day 1. 10:00 arrived at the clinic Around 11:30 surgery 1:30 entered the inpatient room. -Until about 3:00, it hurt so much, and waking up from anesthesia was so hard that I thought I was going to die. I was almost crying and asked the nurse to help me sit up, then lay back against the motion bed. -I couldn’t get up by myself. Whenever I wanted to go to the bathroom, a nurse helped me get up. -4:00 drank water. Painful. My throat hurt so much because of the endotracheal intubation for general anesthesia. I was hungry too. -7:00 ate dinner. After eating ice cream and rice, the throat pain that wouldn’t settle with water got better. The medication includes a narcotic painkiller, and after taking it as my evening dose, the pain disappeared completely. I even felt like my eyesight got better. My whole condition just suddenly improved. I feel like this would work even if you took it after getting shot. They said it was a narcotic painkiller, and it’s insane. They said I have to take it at least 6 hours apart... so I’m a little scared to sleep at night. -Impossible to get up by myself -Impossible to lean back by myself -Sitting on the toilet is insanely hard, but possible. -It was an inframammary incision, but I can’t use my hands. It’s hard to pull handles. My arms are like T. rex arms. -I choked while drinking water, and the moment I coughed, it hurt. -Pain x: It was NOT like “Aaaaaaagh, fuck, save me, doctor, just kill me, it hurts so much ㅠㅜㅜㅜㅜ if I die I won’t feel any pain ㅠㅜㅜ please kill me or put me to sleep ㅠㅜㅜ”!!!!! (Meaning it’s not emergency-room-level pain!) -After 3:00, pain o: I can never do this again. If I had even been just a normal A cup, I absolutely never would have done this crap. -After 7:00, pain o: Ugh.........something is pressing on me....... Even without studying before surgery about the pectoralis major being torn, I feel like my body just knows..... It’s about 90 times the soreness of a torn muscle. (It feels exactly like muscle soreness, but the intensity is about 90 times, max.)
