It’s really been 10 years now. There are no issues with the implant, and I haven’t developed contracture. But when the weather is bad and I have a headache, the side with the silicone and the glabella feel sore and achy. When my condition isn’t good, the silicone side feels tired. There are quite a lot of people who are fine even after more than 10 years, so I wrote this to tell people who are very worried before getting nose surgery that it can be okay. Oh, but as time passes, there is some drooping of the nasal tip. It’s not as pretty as the old shape. I think natural-looking = gradually returning toward the original state. If I think about the shape, I do consider revision surgery. But I just don’t want to open up my nose again, so I’m going to live with it as it is.
