Also, because I used autologous costal cartilage, I had an incision too, but the pain around the rib area was only hard when moving for about 3 days, more than I expected, and after that it did not interfere with daily life! Autologous costal cartilage filler itself is still unfamiliar and hard to find information about, but as time passes and it engrafts, it just feels like my own nasal cartilage, and there’s none of the foreign-body sensation or discomfort unique to silicone. There is still swelling, so they said once it all goes down completely, it will look even higher image-wise, so I’m looking forward to it! Also, because of the side effects from my first surgery, breathing had been uncomfortable, but after surgery, breathing became much more comfortable, so my quality of life has improved.
