The residual swelling is almost gone, right?><Photo taken with makeup at two months><When comparing before and after, it’s like this... hehe the difference is huge...>I really, really wanted double eyelid surgery, so I looked at reviews, picked 3 places I liked, went around for in-person consultations, compared the diagnoses I received, and ended up getting surgery~ Honestly, most of the places I consulted gave similar diagnoses, but I felt like my eyes wouldn’t change much in size if I only got double eyelids When I said I also wanted canthoplasty, there was one place that just took a quick look and told me to do everything, and another place that carefully checked the condition of my eyes and properly explained one by one why I needed epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty, so I ended up getting surgery at the place that explained everything properly. Because after the consultation, I looked it up and found that quite a few people get restoration surgery after a poorly done canthoplasty.. Once I started feeling like the first surgery really had to go well, I think I was more drawn to the place that explained things more thoroughly. But the problem with my eyes wasn’t just that I had monolids.. I also had a lot of fat on my upper eyelids and my skin was on the thicker side, so they made the line with an incisional method, and I also got ptosis correction and upper eyelid fat removal together. At first, I wondered, “I’m going for a natural look, but isn’t this too much?” But as I said earlier, the director explained things well.. and looking at it now, I think it was the right decision.. Since it was incisional, I think the swelling lasted quite a while. But honestly, maybe because I got canthoplasty together, even while I was still swollen, my eyes already looked much more open and refreshed than before. Since this was my first surgery, I actually thought it didn’t look bad even at one month, but looking at it now, hmm.. I think there was still quite a bit of residual swelling at one month? The area above the line looked slightly puffy! These days, a lot of the residual swelling has gone down, so my eyes look big even without eyeliner, and if I do it too dark, should I say it looks heavy? So I think the time I spend doing makeup has gradually decreased lol Compared to my eyes before surgery, all I can think is that I’m really glad I did it.. It was my first cosmetic surgery, so I was really nervous, but now I think I can live without worrying hehe
