This is a review of nose surgery with Director Lee Joo-chul at Begin Plastic Surgery. After having functional nose surgery combined with cosmetic surgery in my early 20s, I decided on revision surgery to correct nasal tip drooping, a bulbous nose, and the nasal alae. I had a lot of concerns about the revision process, results, cost, and so on, so I visited several hospitals in person and searched through many reviews. Because I wanted a natural surgery that suited my face rather than excessive correction, I searched for a director who performs natural-looking surgery well, and came to know Director Lee Joo-chul. It seemed like even at the hospital before Begin Plastic Surgery, he mainly performed natural-looking nose surgeries, and the reviews on cosmetic platforms were good, so first I visited the hospital to make a consultation reservation. The hospital staff were kind, and the director did not do a 10-minute consultation. He explained everything in detail until my questions were answered, and I think he recommended procedures focused on what I needed. It seemed like he does not perform many surgeries in one day, and because it was eye and nose revision surgery, the surgery time took almost 10 hours, maybe a little less. I liked that and trusted him because it felt like he focused on me during the surgery. For the surgery, I had correction of the whole nose, including silicone implant replacement, osteotomy, alar reduction, bulbous nose correction, nasal tip correction, columella correction, and so on. Even after surgery, I visited the hospital for treatment on the scheduled dates, and they checked the surgical results and took necessary measures. At present, I think it has been a little over a month since surgery, and other than swelling, there have been no problems at all. I am scheduled to have another checkup after 2 months, and I think there is also a hospital checkup at the 6-month mark. Whenever I contacted them online or offline, the hospital staff always consulted kindly. I will need to wait a little longer until everything settles, but I think having surgery here was a good decision. The nasal bridge is straight, the nostril shape and symmetry are good, and although it still does not look as slim and sharp because of the swelling, I think time will solve that. I plan to watch it over time.
