Before surgery, I had small, narrow eyes with the outer corners usually turned upward, so I often heard that my eyes looked stuffy when I wore makeup.. I looked up lots of surgery-related information and reviews, and I started thinking that the concerns I had could be relieved to some extent if I had lower posterior canthoplasty. I went around to several clinics for consultations, but I was surprised because this clinic was the largest among all the clinics I had visited so far. Because the clinic was big, there were also a lot of clients.. I felt that all the staff were busy, but they guided me well according to a systematic process, so I felt reassured! Besides the consultant and the director, many people took care of me, and they were all kind and seemed professional, so I trusted them and decided on this clinic. After surgery, because of the stitches, I had to wear sunglasses for about a week The most uncomfortable thing was that I couldn’t wash my face.. But I think this is something anyone who has had eye surgery has to deal with.. so it can’t be helped.. On the first day after surgery, my eyes throbbed a little, but after taking painkillers and applying compresses from time to time, it got better in just one day! Conjunctival edema and swelling were severe for the first week after surgery, and as soon as all the stitches were removed, they improved quickly, so I don’t have them now! The thing I was most worried about while deciding on canthoplasty was, like everyone else, the area closing back up It has been about 2 months since surgery now, and fortunately, the opened area has not closed back up. Before surgery, I used to hear that I had cat-like eyes with the outer corners turned upward in a stuffy way, but through the canthoplasty, my eyes seem to have lowered downward and my impression changed to a puppy-like look!! As more of my irises naturally became visible, I also developed a little scleral show. (Personally, I like it because I feel my eyes look more open now!!) I really like that my impression looks more open and my eyes look bigger, and I regretted not doing it sooner.. and hesitating.. That’s how satisfied I am!!❤ I hope the canthoplasty areas continue to stay well maintained without closing back up. (This is something the director assured me of before surgery, so I’m not worried)
