I remember the day I went in for surgery. Honestly, I wasn't planning to get double eyelid surgery, but every time I took photos on trips, I could feel the pressure from my eyelids. If I didn't force my eyes open, they didn't look bright and clear, and my eyelids kept drooping more and more... So the very next day after coming back from the trip, I went straight to the hospital. I looked around at three places, and since they said I could have surgery right away, I went for it. Without any fear....^^ I just told the doctor to make it suit me naturally, as he saw fit, and to please take good care of me, and then I went straight into surgery. I had a lot of tissue on my eyelids and they were droopy, so they removed a little. For the first month after surgery, it felt like my eyes couldn't close properly. Every time I washed my face, water got into my eyes, so I worried that maybe my eyes would never close properly again. Those worries were unfounded~ I tend to scar poorly and heal well, so I'm satisfied now. I think in a year or two it'll really become natural... I also regret not getting the double eyelids that everyone else gets a little earlier. *^^* That said, this isn't meant to encourage plastic surgery...
