I’ll write this really honestly. Dr. Jinwoo is kind, and he does a good job creating an elegant side profile. I was also tempted after seeing photos, went there, and because his personality was so nice too, I trusted him almost as if I were under a spell and had the surgery.
To put it another way, it looks very obvious. Especially in the review photos, the front view all has a somewhat triangular shape, and in my case it was especially severe, so I even heard that people were talking behind my back saying all they could see from the front were my nostrils. Of course, some people, especially younger people, did say my nose was really pretty, but older people or people who are quick to notice all recognized that I had my nose done. If you have a small nose, please remember that once you get rhinoplasty, it will inevitably look obvious. Even if people don’t say much to your face, they all talk behind your back lol
Also, I was left with scarring, and when I went to another clinic, they said scars normally do not remain to this extent. The photos, from the side, came out pretty, so I managed to live with it somehow, but because of the front view, I started avoiding photos too, and the stress became severe, so I’m looking into total removal. ———————— * Addition I really wanted this to be the last surgery of my life, so I read the doctor’s blog a lot and chose after much thought… but now that I’m facing total removal, I feel distressed. Looking at the review photos here again, they are pretty, but they are just obviously surgically enhanced noses, so I don’t know why back then I thought they were naturally pretty… I think my aesthetic sense changed while looking at this community. When I came to my senses and looked from an ordinary person’s perspective, the idea of “natural yet glamorous” seems like a fantasy.
Whenever my condition was bad, strangely the tip of my nose would turn red, so I went back after a long time, and the doctor also seemed very at a loss… It felt awkward on both sides, and it wasn’t easy to blame the doctor either, so I wrapped things up with a smile and left, but it seems they cannot provide a definite solution when a problem occurs. Since this was the clinic where I had wanted to lie down for surgery for the last time, it was really sad that things turned out that way.
And since they said my current nose looks natural, I painfully realized that the doctor’s aesthetic sense and mine do not match. Even someone like me, who is not sensitive, heard many comments such as that it looked so obvious it bothered people and what happened to my nose… It is true that he has a good personality, but I really regret choosing this clinic. By ordinary people’s standards, this clinic does glamorous noses. I should have gone to an extremely natural nose clinic, or just not done my nose in the first place. I’ve even started avoiding meeting people, so I’m going to remove it and live comfortably.
