I had my first surgery in February 2024 and received an AS revision in September 2024. It was fine until around November to December 2024, but then my nose suddenly swelled up like a hump nose. Since I had received the AS because of my nasal bone, I thought maybe the doctor didn’t shave the nasal bone well and just covered it with silicone..? I left it alone for months thinking that.. But when I went to the hospital yesterday, they said it was because inflammation had developed and asked why I only came now.. They said it has to be removed immediately.. I had no pain, and my nasal bridge just suddenly got higher, so I never even thought it could be inflammation My nasal tip is fine, so I only had the silicone removed, but I’m wondering whether it’s okay to remove only the silicone..
코코넛청크 Not me, but I’ve seen a lot of posts here, and many people seem to leave the nasal tip alone and remove only the silicone. There are also cases where dermis is placed on the nasal bridge after silicone removal, and that seems to differ by hospital.
